CrossPoint Technologies, Inc has designed and delivered a pair of modular matrix switches for use in the L-Band frequency range. The new system utilizes CPT’s grounding breaking 16×16 switch building block. The 20MHz to 3GHz switch module has been optimized for L-Band performance and provides > 65dB of isolation/crosstalk. The system features a modular type design that accepts both Switch Trays, consisting of 8X16 switches and Multi-Coupler Trays, having 1X16 routing capability, that are vertically inserted into the rear of the system chassis. Using this modular approach, 16×256 or 256×16 switch sizes can be configured. Both fan-out and fan-in systems are standard.
CrossPoint Technologies, Inc has resided in the same facility with our sister company I.F. Engineering since it was founded in 2002. The facility is 7500 sq. ft. located in Fabyan, CT, known as the quiet corner of CT. With the growth of CrossPoint Technologies, Inc. and I.F. Engineering Corp over the past eleven years we are now busting at the seams and the decision was made in December of 2009 to locate a new site for both companies to move into.
A piece of land was purchased in Dudley, MA (3 miles from our current Ct location) and a building designed to meet the growing needs of both companies. The building is well on its way to completion and we expecting to move into the facility in the second quarter of 2012. The new facility will have 20,000 sq. ft increasing our available space by a factor of 3.
